Kitty Xie

Kitty Xie is an associate at Haney & Shah LLP. Before joining Haney & Shah, Ms. Xie’s practice concentrated on insurance defense. She represented individuals, homeowner associations, and corporate entities in lawsuits involving habitability, landlord-tenant disputes, personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, and contractual disputes. Her litigation experience included dispute resolution and appellate practice. Prior to working in insurance defense, Ms. Xie was an associate at a business litigation firm in Glendale. While there, she represented individuals and corporate entities, on the side of both plaintiffs and defendants, in a wide variety of cases, including business and partnership disputes, real estate and construction disputes, fraud, mechanics liens, and commercial and residential unlawful detainer actions.

Ms. Xie received her Bachelor’s degree from UCLA and her law degree from Loyola Law School. She externed for the Honorable Rolf M. Treu, Judge of the Los Angeles Superior Court, Stanley Mosk Courthouse. She is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese. Her interests include piano, art, stand-up comedy, and perfumes.
